For more than 65 years, I have had the privilege of looking at the world through a camera. During that time, my photographs have been exhibited in many places around the world, including Germany, Austria, Italy, England, Scotland, Japan and China.
For me, photography has never been about taking a picture. It is about noticing something beautiful, interesting, or fleeting and trying to preserve that moment before it disappears.
I am particularly pleased that some of my large photographs are now part of a permanent exhibition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow, where they are there simply for patients, visitors, and staff to enjoy. If, even for a few moments, an image can bring someone a little pleasure, distraction, or a memory of somewhere they love, then I feel the photograph has done something worthwhile.
I have now created this new page to share some of my photography and, for those who may wish to own one, to make a selection of my images available.
There is no great sales pitch here—just photographs gathered from a lifetime of looking, travelling, and trying to capture a little of the beauty of our wonderful world.
If you have a few minutes, I would be delighted if you would take a look at the page. If you enjoy what you see, please share it with a friend who might enjoy it too.
Thank you, as always, for your interest, encouragement, and support. It genuinely means a great deal to me.
